Group Ambassadors is introducing a Manual Migration Path for its users.
Bring Ambassadors from your Data Center instance to your Cloud instance with this feature
Step 1
Install group ambassadors in your cloud instance
Step 2
Migrate users and groups beforehand using Jira migration assistant
Make sure this step is done correctly before proceeding to the following steps
Step 3
In your Jira Data Center instance , navigate to the Admin tools section of the application and click Generate migration data
3 files should be downloaded in JSON format :

Step 4
In your Jira Cloud instance , navigate to the Migration section of the application and import the generated files
Make sure you import the correct generated data . This action represents a mass importation and can bring noisy data if not done correctly
