Currently, Chronova supports the following time tracking providers:
Jira's Native Time Tracking
Tempo Timesheets
These integrations ensure that time tracking data is captured accurately, without the need for manual selection of the provider.
Jira's Native Time Tracking
For teams using Jira’s built-in time tracking, Chronova automatically captures all time entries logged through Jira issues. There is no additional setup required beyond ensuring proper permissions for time tracking in Jira. Time entries will appear directly in Chronova’s dashboard and reports, offering a real-time view of project progress.
Tempo Timesheets Integration
Chronova also supports Tempo Timesheets, but this requires some additional configuration steps to ensure full functionality.
Additional Configuration
For Tempo, an extra configuration step is required within the Chronova Admin Section. This ensures that time logs sync properly between Tempo and Chronova. Details on how to complete this step can be found in the /wiki/spaces/II/pages/770015234.
Verifying Integration
Once your time tracking provider is set up and detected by Chronova, you can:
Test Logging Time: Log time within a Jira issue using your preferred method, either through Jira’s native time tracking or Tempo Timesheets.
Check Chronova’s Dashboard: Verify that the time entry appears accurately in Chronova’s dashboard and reports.

Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with time tracking data syncing:
Check Permissions: Ensure that users have appropriate permissions to log time in both Jira and Tempo.
Revisit Time Tracking Settings: Review configurations in Jira or Tempo to confirm that time logs are being recorded as expected.
