Definitions and vocabulary

Project : In Chronova, a project represents a budget definition, distinct from a Jira project. It provides a comprehensive view of how time, expenses, and budgets align with team goals.

Member : Users contributing in a Project.

Contract : Defines a Member’s role, their hourly rate, and the duration of their participation in the Project.

Worklog : Time logged by team Members on Jira issues.

Expense : Non-worklog related financial transactions associated with a Project.

Time tracking provider: a service or plugin that enables users to log, track, and report time spent on issues. Jira has a built-in time tracking feature, but it can also integrate with third-party time tracking providers to extend or replace the default functionality.
