Viewing Invoices

To view invoices, click on Invoices in the main menu. You can use the date filter to view invoices in a certain date range.
You can find a list of invoices by client or by account or by status.

 

Creating - Editing Invoices

To create an invoice, use the new invoice button on top of the list of invoices.

 

To edit an invoice, find the action column in the invoice list and click on edit icon.

Invoice editor has the following sections:

  4. Client info

  5. Services

  6. Totals

  7. Notes for client

Deleting Invoices

To delete an, find the action column in the invoice list and click on delete icon.

Invoice info

Standard fields for any invoice :

Invoice reference

The reference helps identifying an invoice. Here, you can list the name of a service or an invoiced project. For recurring invoices, you can consider putting month and year in a reference.

Invoice Dates

Dates range that will be used for importing logged time from Jira.

Issue Date

The date when the invoice was issued.

Due Date

The date when the invoice should be paid.

An freshly created invoice has a default status of “Unpaid” that can be changed from the list of invoices.

Taxes and Discounts

Taxes

The name and percentage of taxes applied to the invoice.

Discount

Percentage of the discount applied to the invoice.

Sender Info

Sender Name

The official name of the business sending the invoice.

Sender Email

The official email address associated with the business.

Sender Phone Number

The official contact number for the business.

Customer Info

Customer Name

The name of the entity to whom you are sending the invoice.

Company

The name of the client's company or organization.

Phone Number

The contact phone number for the client.

Email Address

The Email address for the client.

Address

The client address is broken down into : Street address , city , zip code , country.

Issue Name

The issue name describes what is invoiced in the current Jira issue.

Time logged

The time logged in the Jira issue.

Hourly Rate

The hourly rate is defined in the contract selected in the Jira issue.

Currency

The currency is defined in the contract selected in the Jira issue.

Total per service

The total issued per Jira issue.

Notified

The invoice is sent to the client. We are waiting to be paid.

Paid

We received the paiment for this invoice

Unpaid

The invoice is flagged as Unpaid

Invoice Currency

The currency is determined by the contract.

When you define a contract within a Jira issue, the invoice will automatically adopt the currency defined in the corresponding contract.

Exporting Invoices to CSV/Excel

You can export a single invoice or multiple invoices by selecting them in the invoice list and clicking on the export button in the top right to open the export menu.

You can also export client and contract data using the same straightforward approach. Whether you need to export invoices, clients, or contracts, the process remains consistent, allowing you to export your data seamlessly in both CSV and JSON formats for your convenience.

 

The exported CSV files are designed for seamless compatibility with various spreadsheet applications. We also support JSON format, offering an alternative for those who prefer working with structured data in JSON-compatible applications.

Exporting Invoices to PDF

To export an invoice in PDF format simply find the invoice in the invoice list and click on the PDF icon to generate and download your document. Finding your invoices is made easier with the help of our filters.

If you prefer a hard copy, you can easily print the invoice directly from your browser's menu, making it convenient to have a physical copy when needed.
